TPS Virtual Academy was established in 2021-2022 school year.
We feature all virtual learning, grades 3-12. Students will have the experience of live teachers, but in a virtual environment.
Students must attend classes the same time as the Brick and mortar buildings:
Grades 3-6 hours are 9:00 – 3:15

Grades 9-12, operate on a 7 period bell schedule Attendance is mandatory for success.
Students we serve are students with high anxiety, students that fear going into a Brick and mortar building, students with medical conditions that prevent them from being in the general population.
Ohio State testing is required to be administered in person for fidelity per the State of Ohio, at out 2200 Arlington Ave., Toledo, OH 43614(Inside Bowsher High School)
Student enrolled at the Virtual academy must be self-motivated and disciplined to attend virtual classes from.
TPS Virtual Academy will provide students with a Wi-Fi enabled Chromebook, along with any textbooks that may be needed. Majority of Textbooks are online.
We have on-site administration and counselors to assist students in all aspects of their educational experience,
For High School students.
Toledo Public Schools focus is provide students with all the required 21 credits and seals for graduation, in an online platform.
The Virtual Academy has their own Graduation ceremony, so students will graduate from The Toledo Public Schools Virtual Academy.
